Holistic Health Care
My health care experience started at the age of 15 as a Certified Nursing Assistant. After studying biology as an undergraduate student, I decided to pursue a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have significant experience working with children and adolescents as well as additional certification in working with clients with substance use disorders. In addition to my clinical experience and success, I have also years of experience in leadership, innovation, and program integrity. Whether it is leading a team of clinicians or working with a project management team on cost saving and innovative initiatives, I maintain a client centric mindset that allows my professional expertise to shine and enhance myself, my company, and my clients.
My current professional focus is on integration and innovation of holistic health care delivery. In addition to my clinical expertise, I utilize aspects of behavioral economics to drive effective care management services to individuals at risk of unwarranted health care utilization. I work with internal and external partners to determine initiatives and programs that provide value to the entire continuum of health care stakeholders, including patients, providers, and payers. Lenses like social psychology, health equity, thought leadership, and motivation drive my holistic approach to health care.
